32nd Dr.P. Kesava Menon Endowment Lecture series 2025
Dr. P. Keshava Menon endowment lecture series is one of the prestigious lecture series conducted in the Department of Mathematics for over three decades as a tribute to him. Dr. P. Keshava Menon was a teacher and Research officer in Joint Cipher Bureau who has made significant contributions in Analytic number theory, Classical analysis, Group theory and combinatorics through his research articles published and lectures and talks delivered. Since 1983, lecture series are organized in the Department of Mathematics, University of Calicut in memory to this contributions. Eminent people from prestigious institutions in India are invited every year to deliver this lecture.
This year 32nd Dr. P. Kesava Menon Endowment Lectures 2025 is to be held on 28th and 29th January 2025 with Prof. Sameer Chavan of IIT Kanpur as the resource person. He is one of the expert in functional analysis and Operator theory with more than 50 publications and coauthor of a book entitled "Notes on the Brown, Douglas and Fillmore theorem (with G. Misra)", Cambridge-IISc Series. Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, 2021. 246 pp.
The Two day program on 28th and 29th has three lectures entitled
Lecture 1: Hardy space for plananr domains
Lecture 2:Hardy space for domains in C^2
Lecture 3: A transference principle for Hardy spaces
